Worried about HIV due to early symptoms

Hello! I had sex with a prostitute about 3,5 weeks ago. First we had a condom but then it slipped off and I had unprotected sex for about 30 seconds.

Anyway, approxomately 2 weeks after my penis burned a lot when I urineated so I got tested in a STD-clinic that found gonorrea. They gave me some antibiotic pills for 2 weeks and on my follow-up appointment they still could see some infections in the penis so they gave me additional pills to take...

Now to the worst, 2 days ago, from nowhere I got a sore throat that got worse yesterday but a bit better today. Since I've reat that acute hiv infections have symptoms like that since I do not have a cold or anything. My throat just really burns when swalloing etc..

My question, can it be HIV? Can it be connected with the infections in my penis? This anxiousity is freaking me out.

Best regards

Symptoms will not tell you anything about your status.

You can have a DUO test at 4 weeks and then an antibody test at 3 months.

The only way to know your HIV status is by testing. You can obtain your conclusive negative test result 3 months post exposure.
