OHL without HIV? Is it possible?

Dear Dr!

Let me introduce myself. I am female, I will be 30 this year, and I am writing you from Europe. I have already read a lot of forum, and article about HIV infection, symptomps, a lot of story about another people with similar symptom as I have, and now I am very confused, and very scaried, and I don't know what shall I do, what shall I think about HIV. So I need your advice, I need your help.
I had a HIV exposure last year in October. I am not 100% sure, but I think this man is HIV+, and He knew about it, and wanted to infect me. After exposure I didn't have any flu or something like that, only in Christmas time suddenly my tounge became very white and dry, in 2 or 3 days later my half face became a little bit bigger for a half day. Maybe it can be happened because of lymphs. You should know that before Christmas I started to worried about the HIV infection very very much, and I really thought this man infected me. After this my symptomp came out..In the new year I tried to forget this, and I said It is impossible, and I have to forget everything, but I couldn't, that's why after 19 weeks of the exposure I went for a test (Biomérieux, Vironostika HIV UNI-Form II kit, Elisa),the result come back I am negativ. Actually It is very hard to believe in it, because I have for 1 or 1,5 month white tounge, and i have OHL too. In many article I read, it can be a sign of the infection, and mostly HIV + people has OHL. On the other hand I read a lot of story in HIV forum, and I found a few story which is very similar with my story. Intercourse probably with HIV+ man or woman, after that the tests are negativ, but the symptomps are the same e.g OHL. How can it happen?I don't understand really, and I am afraid of very much. I would like to beleive in my test result, but it is so hard because of the thing I wrote you.  Pls help me Dr!Is there any explanation of the similar symptom? Why do I have OHL, if I am not infected (based on the test)? The test I made is good for HIV2 too?Have you alredy heard a story like I have, that the person wiht OHL become from HIV- to HIV +?

Thanks in advance for your help!

You test after 19 weeks was negative and conclusive. You need to get professional diagnosis for OHL,also it doesn,t just occur in hiv positive people so stop worrying. You may never discover the truth about this man,s hiv status, therefore you have to except your negative test result as being accurate and correct.Take care and in the future always practice safe sex.Getting tested for other STD,s might not be a bad idea.

Hi,

I had unfortunately unprotected exposure. I said He hate it and pull down the condom. I am not sure 100% He is HIV+, but every sign, and his behaviour show for it.
No I haven't diagnosed with OHL, but my tounge looks like as a tounge with OHL, and sensitive also.
