biting and blood in mouth

i bit a guy who was trying to mug me and i got a good amount of his blood in my mouth.  after struggling with him for perhaps 5 minutes and finally running away, i spit out what was left of the blood and gargled with water. is this high risk for geting HIV, assumign he was positive? i heard the mouth is better a barrier than the mucosa of the genitals, but i have heard of people getting infected through oral sex, so i'm freakign out. is this true too? someoen, anyoen help!!!

No, it's still not considered high risk.  Get tested if you are so concerned, but expect a negative test result.

i knwo saliva deactivates it, buit what about the blood? i got his blood in my mouth, so doesn't that make it high risk? i never understand this. is the skin of the mouth mroe effective a barrier against HIV?

No, those symptoms suggest a common cold, not HIV ARS.

It is.  Saliva has factors that are capable of inactivating HIV.  Infection through the mouth is very uncommon.

No, it is not high risk at all.  It would be highly unlikely to be infected with HIV this way.
