blood sample hiv testing

i finally got tested for hiv at 12 weeks and it came back negative...thank God!

so while i was on my way home..the bandage where the blood sample was taken(right arm) fell off because it was hot and i was sweating...so area where they got the blood sample was exposed wihout me knowing it...i know its a small area where they inserted the needle....it was exposed to the world without the bandage...

do u think its a risk for hiv knowing that after getting the blood sample from my arm the bandage fell off without me realizing it? do i need to get RETESTED again??

or am i just overreacting and being a paranoid?

please answer...please.......

This is NO RISK for HIV!!

Just how many people do you think walk around the world every day with cuts, scrapes, scabs, cruises, lacerations, paper cuts, you name it! BILLIONS. If you truly believe you can contract HIV from walking around after having a needle prick in your arm from a blood draw, then you need to read up on HIV transmission and risks. This is impossible. You did not have a risk. You are being overly paranoid because you were being tested for HIV in the first place, which made you obsessively think about it. Let this go and relax- you are HIV negative.
