YES. you can never get HIV from a drop / a couple of drops from a HIV postive breast millk. Again, only babies are at risk of breast milk, their immune system are not yet fully develop and they breastfeed a certain degree of quantity from their mother.
I can assure you with certainty that you had no HIV risk from that incident.
so there is no risk to this matter? i guess right?
Blood has the highest concentration of virus relative to semen, vaginal secretions and breast milk, the other three fluids that can transmit HIV. If you have been transfused by an infected blood then 95% you get infected. Whilst, from your incident there are certain factors you must consider. Breastfeeding can transmit to babies in part due to the quantity of milk which they ingested. Again, babies are prone to get HIV as they need to be breastfeed from their mother daily. The incident happens from the breast to mouth where the digestive properties of our saliva help to inactivate the virus.
ok but how does that change.. like example blood?? why blood is a problem.. like we are talking about the immune system as well right?
I guess nobody wants to be breastfeed unless you're a baby right? babies immune system has not developed fully at there age and that's the reason why they're prone to be infected.
ok thanks.. for the advice and ill always use a condom... i dont know why in the information centers they dont write what you just said only from mother to baby..
YES. you're absolutely fine dude from that incident. Never forget to wear condoms all the time and don't share needles.
oh ok since im 20 years old i dont have to worry about brest milk then?
like how much brestmilk could i need to get hiv if she was infected? - If you are being breastfeed everyday. the only chances of breastmilk transmission is from a mother to baby.
can someone please answer my question?
it said semen. blood. vaginal secretions and breast milk.. this is why im asking.. are there alot of chances?
No you did not read that at all.
