concerned

I had protected vaginal sex with a girl from class, one time. condom did not break and only fellatio performed a few times that night and a 2 days after the fellatio was un protected, and I noticed no cuts scrapes or blood that I remember. she is kind of premiscuous but (about 9-10 guys before me) she told me she was clean about 4 times but I don't know if I can trust that. I was tested 87-88 days after last possible exposure and the EIA test was the only test that was recorded and came back negative, should I be worried and get a 6 month follow up or disregard?

This discussion is related to Elisa test after 2 months of exposure.

Again thank you all for the advice and assement, I hope that both of my tests are 100% percent reliable and accurate and I can put this behind me. Does asnyone here agree? I promise this to be my last thread

I did and they didn't seem very helpful, they still say six months is the deadline. that's just what they told me. I'm not trying to be a burden but I'm just confused by the sources and what is conclusive

thank you Teak, I have read the guidlines and was also told by both people who tested me that I am fine. However, if the 3 month guidline is valid, why hasn't the CDC changed it? Why do they still say 6 months as well as other sites? Are they truly misinformed or out of date?

Sir I know the questions keep puring out but this is a scary subject. I did the ELISA test at the time shown, after the two weeks (about 100 days after possible exposure) I got a 15 minute rapid finger test whic came back negative. so am i out of the window period presrcibed by the CDC? Why do they say 6 months still for some people and would I fit into the 6 month with my age and immune system? I'm still confused about the testing accuarcy if i should rely on 3 months. thank you.

Would the first scenario put me at any risk for hepatits? I have not been tested for that yet.

ok. I have one more scenario, I'm in the Air Guard and I had to use one of my friend's razors to shave a little bit of hair off my neck. I didn't ask him or even think about it but I know he's been to basic training, therefore he had to have been tested. I washed the razor with water before using it and then through out the blade. any risk there?

You had no risk...no need to test.

I mean from a healthy 20 year old with this scenario, would this particular test be very reliable
