do i need a HIV test ?

Hi, I am from India. Have been reading these forums for some time now and thought there is no risk from oral sex and protected sex until i saw this comment from doctor hansfield -

https://www.medhelp.org/posts/HIV---Prevention/possible-Hiv-infection/show/256213#post_4556759

I have been receiving unprotected oral sex and protected sex from commercial sex workers, thinking that oral sex is safe after reading this forum. and yesterday i went to one sex worker and I had a cut on my penis and received unprotected oral sex  and protected sex . I think my life is over now. Doctors on this forum need to be specific to which countries these rules apply.

Any knowledge on this topic from anyone, will be highly appreciated.

But what about doctor Hansfield saying the same does not apply to India ?

Also the cut was around 30-45 mins old and bled when it happened.

No one has ever gotten HIV from receiving oral sex.  You will not be the first.

I can find 1,000 comments from Dr. H saying receiving oral sex is safe and that no one recommends testing after that act.  You found 1 comment from 11 years ago and you are focusing on that. You should forget about these events and move on.  You do not have HIV.
alright .

thank you
so india is equally safe ?
for future I'm asking
HIv doesn't understand about countries or continents. The ways it's transmitted are unprotected vaginal/anal penetrations and sharing needles to inject drugs. Whether you are in India, USA or Spain, it will always be like that.
alright thanks
Totally low risk incident and need not to worry...Move on with your life...I am also from India and worrying too much after receiving Oral sex and had multiple tests are negative...Move on with your life and never have any illegal relationships...5 mins joy can kill your 40 years of life...be safe and Take care of your own family.
alright. thanks
It was zero risk as diver and Curfew said so no reason to pretend there was some form of low risk involved. It is time to move on from trying to work up some impossible HIV theory.
alright. thank you everyone for the replies.

You did not have any risk situation in the scenario you described. Saliva carries several enzymes that inactivate the virus instantly. Secondly, saliva is a safe non infectious body fluid
