Most companies don't use the term generations. Most newer tests are given a totally new name. Others such as DUO tests test both antigen and antibodies.

HI there,

At 3rd month after possible exposure, it doesnt matter if it is 3rd or 4th generation test.  They are all reliable and conclusive.

Cheers!

Are you a chronic IV drug abuser, do you take Chemo, do you take anti-rejection medication for a transplant? If you answer no to those questions then your test result at three months is conclusive.

you have a conclusive negative and there is absolutely no reason to test out to six months
