While the CDC commented last week on a single unconfirmed case of female-to-female transmission that was reported to them in 2012 by the Texas Board of Health, they haven't revised their guidelines.

Our members use those guidelines when they assess our other members for risk.  That's the purpose of this forum -- helping members to assess their individual risks in their specific situations.

Please be aware that this forum is not
- a place for debate;
- a place to ask our members to interpret, disprove, or explain claims you may have seen on other websites;
- a place to ask our members to speculate about odds, nor about hypothetical situations.

If you're concerned about an experience that you feel may have put you at risk, please feel free to ask our members about it by starting a thread.  You can do this by clicking the "Post a Question" button at the top of this page.

You never had an exposure. HIV is not transmitted by oral sex.
