Possible exposure of having anal sex with a man i dont know, he pokes fun of me by telling that hes infected with hiv, but then when i texted him hes claimed that he dont have the virus, but im so scared, may 27 i developed fever with runny nose my fever was 48 C its a mild one, and the clinic gave me biogesic and after i took the med. It worn off, my last encounter was april 27, and may 25 afternoon and evening i drink coke and when i wokeup in the morning, the left side of my throat felt a little soar and was worn off when i got to school and may 29 i visited my throat, i saw red circles, i got scared im thinking that it could be hiv... i visited a genral doc. She said it was a bacterial infection, i told her " arent you going to do swab" to know what in my throat, she said no and recomended me with azithromycin 500mg for 3 days, and montilucas for allergie, but then i finished the medication and it didnt disappeared, i decjded to go to another clinic and asked another doctor may 28 i had trouble breathing and uncomfortable acidity in my stomach, then she said its acid reflux, i also asked her if acid reflux can cause pharyngitis, she looked at my throat she said those red things in my throat called nodules, she precribed some med. I think its antiacid, and nothing happened, during that i got white furry tounge im so scared by that, i just finished my azithromycin a day before i got that white furry tounge, i dont know what to do, i got nodules in my throat that dont go, but i dint think that i got swollen lymph nodes, i touched the right side if my jaw and theres a node but its not that big, i dont inow what to do im so scared!

Its past 4 weeks after the exposure,... im so scared to get tested, it happened 6 weeks ago,

Relax ! What happened has happened. Though you put yourself at a risk, however it is also a fact that not everyone necessarily contracts HIV from a single event of unprotected sex with an HIV+ partner. Many miss the bullet. Now you wait till 4 weeks of your exposure, get yourself tested for HIV Duo test which will be highly reassuring, repeat the test with HIV antibody test after 3 months of the exposure, collect your conclusive report and move on with your life. Next time, NEVER EVER unprotected with anyone, outside your mutually committed totally monogamous relationship
