hiv confuse test reslt

recently done 4 hiv screening test rapid and found neg after 11 months.
Just for confirmation i have taken wb test it came 2 band of poly (protein) detected and resulted to indeterminate.

Is i am hiv positive or negitive.
Or need to test more.
Is screening is equal to elisa.

hi,
today shown to one doctor they are saying that with one screening negitive and one indertimate wb means negitive.
But the bands may increase with infection and still remain nigitive.
He advised me to take medicine to cure the band increase.

move on means - protein will not increase or decrease. And i will be hiv negitive

in wb mentioing virus of 2 proteins - it is releted to hiv and can it will increase or can be cure it. Or later can be seroconversation in wb

You don't have an HIV concern you are conclusively negative.

Sorry thought it was 11 weeks u said not 11 months. 3 months is conclusive, you are HIV-. Simple as that, disreguard the WB test. Should not have been done.

i done sex unprot with an lady and checked screening test at 12 months it was neg for 3 times only wb has a problem with 2 band poly.

Dismiss the WB, it should not have been done. Antibody test done at 3 months is conclusive. Your test at 11 weeks is not going to change.

tks, but i have not done elisa test, i have done screening test in lab.
Why wb shown 2 band of poly

Your AB screening tests are conclusive. WB is normally done for confirmation if an  ELISA comes positive. There was no need for a WB test in your case. You do not have HIV
