hiv duo test
i want to ask the forum abt p24 antegen test after 3 months....as my doc has asked for a hiv duo test at 3 months...he told me if i had infection either of the one will be posetive..either antibodies or antigen..he said antigen will b present in the blood till the time antibodies get produced...is this true to have hiv duo test after 3 months mark and is this conclusive.is my doc is correct
Duo test are conclusive 28 days beyond. The antigen portyion of the test detects the p24 as early as 2-3 weeks. After the antigen declines the antibody increases. This is a bullet proof test. If done at 3 months it is 100percent accurate.

Duo/ 4th gen test/ ag and ab workout test are conclusive 28 days beyond. At 3 months any test is conclusive! You do not have hiv!
