hiv in vaginal fluid

Hi, i have in many forums that hiv in vaginal fluid is found deep inside a womans vagina, vaginal fluid that is located on the outer part of a womans vagina is not or less contaminated with hiv, please clarify this information for me. I recently had an encounter where all i did was masturbate, and i spread open the outer part of the womans vagina with my fingers, doing so i felt vaginal fluid on my fingers. Is this encounter a way to contract hiv?

HIV is unable to reproduce outside its living host (unlike many bacteria or fungi, which may do so under suitable conditions), except under laboratory conditions; therefore, it does not spread or maintain infectiousness outside its host.
