I had sex with positive women condom broken tested at 13 week in india but i had sex in africa.
I was one artical today in times india, that hiv 2 will not show in hiv kit most 90 percent.

I am afraid, please confirm and i am afraod

3 months is conclusive, and if your test was for 1 and 2 then at 3 months it is conclusive.

sir, i have taken determine hiv1/2 kit in nigeria.
In india i have taken on hiv kit tridot hiv 1/2 kit ('it is writing on it ).
I hope above 2 kits are ok.
I hope 3 month window period is ok for hiv 2.

Not all rapid test test for HIV 2. Unless the test you take stipulates HIV1 and HIV 2.

Based on all the posts from those from India I really have no idea why the doctors are so inept. I'm sure you can find a doctor educated in HIV in India.

in some website it is said that if hiv 1 virus is positive then we have to check hiv 2.

I don't know what they have in India in terms of testing. Call or go ask where you had the test done.

I had sex with nigerian lady and tested in nigeria at 2 months and negotive and later afteer 3 months tested in india and neg.
Nigeria local clinic with determine kit and tested in india with tridot.

HIV-2 is not all that widespread even in Africa. But it would be wise to talk to where you had your testing done to see if it was for HIV-2 also, if not the request to be tested for that.

I am not 100% but I believe a lot of tests already test for HIV-2.
