Right, it's just that when you mentioned them i thought that you somehow meant i should seek some help on the matter. I know how confident you and the guys on here are in advising people that it's none risk and that there is no need for testing and it's safe to carry on having sex with their wives girlfriends etc but it still seems irresponsible to me when even though the risk is theoretical,minute or whatever, surely your still gambling by telling people that however small the odds are.

Can i just say, i dont want you to think i am deliberately being annoying, i know your just trying to help and when your sure of something as you say you are, i can see how frustrating it must be having people going on and on after being told they are fine, i'm the same age as you and am usually a rational, intelligent person,or at least i like to think so, this silly thing i have done has properly rid my mind of any rational thinking and convinced me that i must have somehow got infected by this person.
Classic Ars symptoms are high fever and rash usually on the trunk-torso.If you want to get tested for a no risk situation that,s your call.Expect a negative result.
If it were just a cold i wouldnt waste the doctors time with it, but me and my gf both at the same time is too much of a coincidence for my liking, i want to get tested just to be sure but i'm too scared, and can i ask why this thread has been edited to like 5 posts there were lots that have dissapeard. You never had a risk of hiv infection so how could your symptoms be related to ARS.You need to consult your doctor for these problems.They are not related to hiv.
Hi, been on vacation for a week and been really worrying myself sick, almost 3 weeks to the day after the event i developed a cold, blocked nose, sneezing, glands in my neck felt a little tender, lasted for about 3-4 days then cleared up, my gf developed a cold at the same time, blocked nose,sore throat and a dry cough, hers has lasted all week though and hasn't gone yet, we never get colds at the same time, we never have, i know you all say symptoms alone cant be an indication, but can you tell me if anything i have described sounds like ars symptoms. I understand what your saying, thanks for your help all of you, i was just trying to get my head round why you all seem so confident in what your saying, i know it's cut and dry from your viewpopint, just harder when your the one asking the questions, but i do appreciate it really.
