hiv standard anti body test canada

had a 12 week blood test done.  came back negative.  gf had same test 8 weeks after exposure. neg as well.   just wondering how much faith I can have in the result. not sure what generation the test was tho

Your girlfriends eight week result will no way change,,it simply doesn't happen.

It was 3rd Generation definitely if it was Nova Scotia

well in that case I certainly hope its third gen. not a clue what generation it was here in nova scotia. we had to wait 2 weeks for the results thanks for ur help

If it was a 3rd Generation test (which Canada only uses 3rd and 4th according to AIDS: Vancouver) Your 12 week is without a doubt conclusive and your 8 week is virtually 100% conclusive.
