Thank you very much for ur information I greatly appreciate it
Bands at either p31 OR p24 AND bands present at either gp160 OR gp120 =
A Positive Result and I don't see you getting a positve result when you redo your test.
Well thank you for ur help I really hope that's the case I also assumed from my reading that gp160 generally isn't a first band to show up alone
But what could cause the gp160 to be reactive by itself it just seems strange and I have read about alot of stuff saying p24 or others generally show up with early infection when it's sero
Your doctor will have to retest your WB. More than likely you have had two false positives. Had you been positive you would have had the bands at three months post exposure to give you a positive result.
No unprotected sex in the past 3 months and no never anything with iv drug users
I have had unprotected sex yes but no not with iv drug users
Have you had unproted vaginal or anal sex or shared works with other IV drug abusers?
Not within the past 3 months no
Have you had unprotected vaginal or anal sex?
I'm not 100% sure, no one has told me they were positive... R u trying to say it's likely to be positive?
Have you ever had an exposure?
There wasn't really an exposure I haven't hadn't had sex in the past month and I had the test done 2 weeks ago just to have it done and he called me in saying I had an indeterminate test result with gp160 and sent me home to call an infectious disease clinic for further testing
What was your exposure and when was your tests done?
Then what is it if it's not indeterminate?
That's not an indeterminate result.
