is there risk?

Hi,

I went to bowling alley with a friend. While we were bowling, I realized the bowl I was using chipped my finger. The people in next lane where sharing balls from the same pool as our. I am not sure if anyone else used the ball that chipped my finger. At that instant I didn't worry about the incident.
18 days after the incident I got fever 100.1, sore throat, running nose...

Can someone please tell me if I have been exposed.

Thank you

You keep repeating your question. Is it going to make any difference if they respond to your question again for the third time? It doesn't seem to be helping you overcome your health anxiety. Repeatedly asking the same questions and expecting a different response is textbook health anxiety. I think it's high time you addressed that problem instead of wasting your time here with repeated non risks.

Your history shows that you have an unhealthy fear of herpes and HIV.  I'd strongly recommend counseling if you haven't looked into it already.  There's no reason to live with a high level of anxiety.  Regarding HIV, let's make it clear and simple:

As an adult, the only risks for HIV are:
1) having unprotected, penetrative vaginal or anal sex, or
2) sharing IV drug needles with other IV drug users.

If you don't do either of those activities, you will NEVER have to worry about HIV.

Thanks a lot for the response.
I did suffer a lot with anxiety. I managed to overcome it with the help of my life partner for over 2 years.

It's just this incident bought back all that bad anxiety.

Thanks again
Just one last question. This might sound stupid.

Just one scenario i need some clarification

What if the other person played using the ball.  It cut his finger. Then the ball hits the pins and rolls back and i used that same ball and it cut my finger or recut my cut finger. What is the risk here please let me know.

This is my last question
Do you feel this new scenario encounter would be risk 1 or 2 from the only risks that Curfew provided?
Neither of the 2 scenarios Curfew provided so i should be ok right?
Yes. So you should look at that list every time you get anxiety.
