just really scared

Hi i am brand new this is my first question on here and just a little info...i do have ocd however my ocd is focused on contracting and spreading a blood born disease...the question...today i went to the bathroom and work i always lock the door with a napkin but today i was in a hurry and the napkin may have touched my hand after i closed the door with it...at first it didnt bother me but when i got the toilet paper to open the door to leave i looked at the lock and there was bloody finger prints on it now i am freaking out about if the 'dry" blood got onto my finger and onto my clothes when i pulled my pants and undergarments up and down and if i am at risk i do have cuts on my hands from washing way too much due to previous blood scares earlier this week. Please help. Thank You!

there is an ocd forum here at medhelp.

hiv is NOT transmitted through environmental surfaces or inanimate objects.  once exposed to air...hiv becomes inactive and unable to infect.

Thank you so much for answering so quickly this didnt clear up all of my worries but that is just the ocd focusing in lol i just wanted to thank you again you have definetly minimized my worries about it :)
