you cannot reuse a lancet regardless, i'm assuming you took an hiv test at planned parenthood. If they somehow reused it and it had HIV on it, the virus would be dead in a matter of minutes, if not sooner. Lancets are not hollow-bore needles, they are exposed to air after they are used.

And again, please understand that the chances that the lancet was used previously on an HIV infected person are probably one in one million.

i didn't see him get a new one. It probably wasn't but I'm just wondering what the chances are if it was.
