Oral thrush is a common opportunistic infection which occurs among people, regardless of their HIV status. Most people who have oral thrush do not have HIV.

Frequent oral thrush infections that won't respond to treatment appear at HIV positive people who are at ADVANCED stage of infection, which takes years to develop.

Test is required only if you've UNPROTECTED vaginal/anal sex or shared needles for injecting IV drugs.

What makes you think you've contracted HIV?

Let's make some things clear. First of all, HIV is not transmitted via condom PROTECTED vaginal/anal sex.

Neither oral sex is considered as a risk of HIV by knowledgeable and experienced HIV experts.

Bottom line, you did NOT have risk of HIV from what you've described and do NOT need to get tested.

Use condoms correctly and consistently for vaginal/anal sex and you'll never have an HIV concern.
