still nervous

i was exposed to unprotected vaginal sex with a csw on 13th april.. brief encounter, after that i was so tensed. got a rapid immunochromatographic test at 3,5,8 weeks .. All came negative ! Now stading 80 days post exposure, till date i had a sore throat after 8 weeks, also a small white bump on tongue ! but  no rash , no fever yet ! no diarhea !

1.do i still stand a chance to be HIV + ? should i go for further test ?
2.how much my test was accurate ?
3. did anyone turn pos+ after 8 week rapid immunochromatographic test?

1. Probably not, because it is very highly unlikely that your 8 weeks test would change otherwise. Yes you need 12 weeks test to receive your conclusive report, which will not be different from what you have gor so far.

2. Very accurate over 95%

3. No

Your antibody test is negative.  A value above 1 would be positive and yours is well below that.  The Western Blot, which you didn't need, is also negative, and confirms that your status is negative.  This will close this discussion.

as you told WESTERN BLOT can be a conclusive test at 12 weeks, so here are my results !

i hope this one is a clear cut negative !

plz help me to interpret western blot result

hiv 1 - negative
hiv 2- negative

then hiv 1 & 2 antibody screening  0.18 index >1.0

You had no reason to have a western blot test done, that is a confirmation test from a positive antibody test.

also another query.. dat day i had received oral too from the csw, but your forum consider it as a risk free event ! so ? is that the case that i shouldnt consider it as any risk for hiv ? i had vdrl test @ 8 weeks & it was negative.. any chance of hiv from that ?

why do other forum beleive that there is a chance of aquiring hiv by oral ? plz clarify !!
