hey, thank you all so much for your time and effort. I am so distresses I cannot sleep. PLEASE HELP!
I have read " large amounts of the causative bacteria or viruses must have direct access to susceptible tissues, which typically are deep inside".
I'm not sure what deep inside means, how deep inside??
the other night my friend and i got in a fight with a bunch of hooligans, they ened up beating up some poor kid who had blood all over his face and hands from the fight, and throwing their glass drink bottles at us, one of which splashed on the ground and the bits of glass flew and pierced through the skin on my knee. I had a scrape about 1 sentimeter long which seemed pretty deep and nasty and was bleeding for about 10 minutes but didn't hurt at all and has healed very quickly with almost no attention.
what i'm worried about is what if there was blood on the hooligan's hand from beating up that kid (or that he had some gum issues and was some blood in the bottle) and then when he threw the bottle that blood on the glass could have gone right into my body!!
PLEASE PLEASE could you tell me my risk and explain your answer briefly? thanks so much in advance
