multiple symptoms....questions
is a racing heart beat a symptom of HIV infection? i have lots of other symptoms as well, but my heart just wont stop pounding. it keeps me awake at night and is contibuting to my feelings of fatigue i think. it has been like this for around a month. the only time i feel normal is when i drink.
Trust me I know how you feel...been there myself. You will get through this and in the end I believe you will be one happy person.
Anxiety can cause a white tongue...I know, I have the same problem when I get really anxious about something. Ignore any symptoms you have had because they mean nothing one way or the other. Just test at 3 months post exposure and then you can get back to normal life. Also a lot of your symptoms don't sound like HIV and the absence of a 101+ fever for 1 to 2 weeks is strong evidence that you have not experienced ARS. However, not everyone will have symptoms so rely strictly on testing for your answers...the chances are heavily in your favor...you will be ok.
broken condom with a hooker. my problem is that a ahort time after this happened, i had what i would consider to be mild symptoms. sore throat diahorrea one night of night sweats, and some folliculitis style rash ...these symptoms left after a day or two. i went to my doctor and she said nothing to worry about, even though i had enlarged nodes in neck and groin. i had enlarged nodes for 3 months prior to exposure...so in my mind nothing had really changed ( i had tested negative in a HIV test at this time, before my exposure)....however since this exposure..my lymph nodes have stayed the same. the fatigue i was feeling anywy has got worse, my tongue is white, and my heart is pounding!
part of me thinks that all of these symptoms, although classic HIV symptoms, are due to some other problem with my immune system...which must be undergoing something to have enlarged nodes for 6 months....but part of me is still worried. can other immune sytsem problems cause symptoms like white tongue?
and how long do people lymph nodes generally stay swollen for with an HIV infection.?
