3 months is when you can obtain a conclusive negative test. There are NO TEST marketed, sold or approved to give a negative test earlier than 3 months.
Your chances are about 1 in 1000, that is if she is even positive, which is not likely. Testing at the 3 month mark is the CDC guideline for a conclusive result, but several outlets suggest 6 weeks is enough time to develop antibodies if you were infected.
From the AIDS Action Committee of Massachusetts:
"Most people will test accurately for HIV after 6 weeks have passed since their last risk. In some cases where a person has a highly compromised immune system, such as those in which a person has recently undergone chemotherapy or an organ transplant, it may take 3-6 months for their body to develop enough antibodies to test positive."
