please help me!!!

Please someone tell me what's going on. I gave a girl that I hardly knew oral sex with a cut (bleeding) tongue. I cut my tongue about 15 minutes before I gave her (lasted some minutes). A week later I had unprotected sex with my girlfriend. Eight days from when I had sex with my girlfriend she fell sick with flu like sympthoms, a sore throat and a rash that was more or less a patch of lighter skin on her head. The rash was not raised. She got well in a week's time. At exactly 3 weeks after my exposure I had a mild fever, dry burning mouth, a sore on my lip, 2 nights weat, nauseos, I had diarrhea, burning pain under my right foot especially when I am standing on one position (it gets better when I move about), I couldn't eat. I had lymph nodes under my armpits and my neck as confirmed by a doctor. I did a CBC, had raised neutrophils (8800), reduced lymphocytes (2200). All symptoms then disappeared. I didn't experience any rash until about seven weeks after exposure and it was not raised but silvery scalelike. And then a week later my lymph nodes acted up again (under the jaw, behind my right ear, under my armpits and both my groin) up till this moment. I took the hiv test (elisa second generation) at four and a half weeks and it was negative. I took another hiv test (elisa first generation) at ten weeks and it was still negative. Please is there anything else that could be doing this cos it just keeps pointing towards hiv. I am particularly worried for my girlfriend. Please help me

Thanx a lot for your answers. I discovered some of the things I experienced were down to anxiety. I guess it does teach me a big lesson though. Thank you very much for your good work, I would love to support anyhow I can.

by Emily_MHModerator,
And to clarify, it is this site's stance, based on studies and our own MedHelp experts (all of whom are world-renowned for their work in this field), that oral sex carries no risk for HIV.

I know about oral sex and the arguement as to whether its a means of transmission or not but there are a lot of professionals who say that the risk of transmission increases a lot with the presence of a cut. I know I must have been exposed to a certain amount of risk but my problem is how reliable is my 70 day elisa hiv first generation test.
