HIV Testing

Hi All
I had my 8 week HIV1/HIV2 and P24 Antigen Combo test as negative. Apparently this is a HIV Ag/AB combo test. Do I still have a risk of getting infected?

Congrats just follow up with a conclusive result at 84 to 90 days

a four generation test at 8 weeks is more than 95% accurate, so you`ll be ok, but get tested at 3 months for the conclusive result.

Good Luck

dont expect your result to change...but according to guidelines...a test at 3 months is needed for a conclusive result :)
