Herpes and HIV Exposure CLARIFICATION

Hi, I had sex with someone I don't know last week.  I had a condom on.  I felt it slip and pulled out.  It was on the head of my penis.   I washed off and noticed I was having a herpes outbreak ON THE SHAFT OF MY PENIS WHICH BECAME UNCOVERED FOR ABOUT TWO SECONDS-- skin broken in two places.  I washed with soap and water which I have read doed not help.  I applied hand sanitzer to the broken skin.

We are both black.  This was in LA.  I asked her if I had anything to worry about with HIV -- she said no.  She won't return my e-mails to ask again, so I think she lied, or did not know.

I plan on geting tested -- how soon can I and get any reasonable result?  I also read sex with a herpes outbreak has a 30% transmisison rate.  Sounds like horrible odds.

Thanks for any reply.

Well the odds are not thar high, if your herpes outbrake sores, where in contact with her vaginal fluids ther would be some risk but no even close to 30%, probably the same as unprotected vaginal sex 1 / 2000, but a test would be warranted, at 6 weeks your test would be 95% accurate and at 3 months conclusive.
She is not anwering your mails since she already answer your question once, and if you keep sending the same question she can feel insulted or something like that and want to make you stressed if she were positive she had told you,

Good luck
