skin cuts.

Hello,

Hope you are well..

I have a very bad skin condition, I have a lot of eczema all over my body and my hands.. sometimes the eczema patches bleed during the day depending if i had scratched them or not or if the clothes rubbed on them or not..

I went to a sauna and sat in the jacuzzi for a while. A guy inside the jacuzzi started to feel me and i felt him too.. He then ejaculated and started to feel me all over my body, He also touched and applied pressure on my urethra. until I felt his hand was sticky,I got scared and got out of the jacuzzi. Basically he hand semen on his hand and he was touching feeling me.. Everything happened inside the jacuzzi under water.

I am worried that the semen on his hand got into some eczema on my body because I have a lot of eczema and they bleed or could the semen have got through my urethra. I was also told that this guy has a lot of unprotected sex, thats why im very worried.

I also have a major anxiety disorder and I am on meds. I am starting to flip and really nervous, if someone can please help me and tell me if there was a risk for HIV to transmit this way.. Really really appreciate your help and i need it..

Thanks a lot.

This will be the final response from me concerning your question. And actually, it's not MY response, but that of Dr. Hunter Handsfield, one of the top researchers of HIV/AIDS.

Please read this carefully and then kindly move on.

From Dr.H.Handsfield

Some questions can be accurately answered based on the title alone.  There is absolutely no risk of HIV or any other STD from sharing a hot tub or Jacuzzi with an infected person.

Skin cuts, abrasions, sores or whether someone had ejaculated in the spa, and so on make no difference. Even if the hot tub had not been adequately maintained with chlorine or other sanitizer chemicals, (which it undoubtedly had been) dilution of semen or other body fluids would guarantee no chance of infection. Nobody has EVER contracted HIV in this manner and you needn't worry about it.  You do not need testing!

Stay off the symptom websites! You're doing nothing but adding fuel to the fire of your completely unwarranted anxiety.
YOU HAD NO RISK and regardless of how many times you ask or the garbage you read on websites, THAT is going to be the answer.

Thanks a lot..
RubyWitch, I am sorry to come back to this but please help me one last time. I was not able to sleep because i read on a website that HIV dies once EXPOSED TO AIR, but in hot water like a jacuzzi it can live longer, I read that it needs AIR for the virus to become unable to reproduce/infect. But it will live longer in hot water and can be transmitted. I am sorry to bother you I just want to get my anxiety at ease.. please help me and answer this one last time. Thanks a lot.

Malbats assessment was spot on.......you never had a risk as that is NOT how HIV is contracted..

And yes, we are sure of the assessment you've been given.

Thanks a lot for your help.

One last question, 1) I know this all happened under water, even if some of my eczema where bleeding and he touched them with his hand that had sperm on it ? Hiv can't transmit like that ? EXchange of blood and sperm ?

2)Are you sure of your assessment ?

Thank you so much..

Yes... I'm sure of my assessment... HIV doesn't 'survive' in the environment.. Once exposed... It starts to breakdown almost immediately...and as you said... It happened underwater... There is no way for infection...
