are these symptoms of HIV?

Hello,
I know there's many questions of this type so thank you in aqdvance for answering my particular case.

About 3 weeks ago I performed and inprotected oral sex on a man (I am female). There was no ejaculation, and I think there was no precum either. I know that the risks of contracting HIV through oral are very low ( ' The chance for your partner being HIV+ is 1 in a 1 000.  The chance for transmission is 1 in 10 000.  Put the two together you get 1 in 10 million - those are the odds of you acquiring HIV').

However this fear is killing me.  Well. firstly I was worrying more about herpes as I had  sore lips but when I stopped worrying about that this HIV thing is killing me. Am I just looking for sth to worry about or is it a possibility? Few days ago I had a very slight diarrheaf (or maybe its more precise to say that I was just going to toilet more often). I also feel very cold all the time (haven't checked if I have fever yet). Last night I couldn't fall asleep at all as I felt cold and was panicking. My heart also seems not to function properly and beat too quickly.

Could these be the symptoms of HIV?

Is the risk really that low? (1 in 10 mln)

On the other hand I know I am a very sensitive person and these symptoms might be simply from worrying(especially diarrhea and heart problems). What is more, my possible fever might be simply due to geting a cold since I was riding a bike in a windy whether a few days ago and wasn't dressed properly.

Or to summarise: is there any reason for me to be HIV tested? (appart from the fact that it would stop me worrying for no reason).

Thanks again! I'm just going nuts from this fear and even started avoiding seeing people. This is becoming depression, so I really need someone to answer my particular case regardless of how similar it is to others.

I am sorry for bothering you, I really am. But I still don't understand how can it be that I didn't have an exposure if I could possibly had this lingual frenulum bleeding and have contact with vaginal wetness AND I have my glands swollen.

I am not doubting your competence, but I just feel that everyone wants to convince me I don't have HIV. I am afraid that the tactic used is to tell such ppl like me that they dont have a risk so that they could calm down, as the risk ir really very low and most likely the symptoms will go away and the persoon will stop panicing. And also, maybe such people like me will get tested anyway, so everyone says that u did not have an exposure just to calm them down until they finally get tested and then know how it really is.

Could you please answer my questiona bout testing after 28 days. Is there any overlap between this test and test after 3 months. from what i read i understand that there is not, but I just want to make sure I understood correctly.

Also, if these are HIV symptoms, can they go away in under a week or do they necc have to last longer? And would they dissapear from antibiotics used to treat the flu?

Teak, I understand if you do not have any patience with me anymore. I appreciate your patience thus far.
I would still be really grateful if sb could answer these questions of mine.

Thanks so so much.

ok, I am sorry to bother you ppl again,  but I have new evidence for me having HIV. To be honnest, I am sure I have it. I just wish I would have  it said on paper so that I can think how to move on.

So, firstly my symptoms keep on getting worse and worse. I cannot get rid of fever with any pills. Also joint-bone ache. Yesterday I had diarrhea. I cannot eat basicly at all. When I think of food I get sick. I did eat a few times and did not throw up after, but felt sick while eating. I had a sore throat all these days, but today I realised that I do have them glands swollen in my throat. As in small gland balls on my throat when I look up and touch my neck.

MOST IMPORTANTLY: I realised how I could have contracted that: now I remember that the day after my lingual frenulum was sore. It remained sore for over a day. So maybe that could have bled during performing oral.

Also, I forgot one possibly very important detail: before I performed oral on that man, my frienfd had unprotected vaginal sex with the same man, so there musth have been some of her wetness on his penis.

The last question: I am currrently in a country where they do not do hiv test after 28 days. When I come back to Britain to get tested it will be about a month and two weeks after this encounter. I just want to know whether I can really trust this test after this time, or will it be too late and I'll have to wait for 3 months test?

Thank you very much. I think I have already started to accept that I have it and stopped crying. However, I do not know how to continue and this forum really does help me to know that at least I'm not alone and rejected by everyone.

NO and no you did not have a risk. See a doctor if you feel ill you didn't have a risk of contracting HIV.

I do have fever.
Please, tell me the truth if there is any chance it's HIV. I saw some people criticising you for saying it's zero risk.

Is it true that after 2 months the test is 98% of the time correct? Is there no earlier test available?

Is fever and dry mouth usual early symptoms of HIV?

Please, help me. It's killing me.

It's stupid as you telling me this makes me feel better although I read loads of similar posts to mine and your answer was exactly the same.

Well, firstly I'll try to calm down somehow (maybe just think that there's nothing I can change even if I contracted it, so why worry) and if my symptoms go away then, I'll calm down thinking it was due to anxiety.

Maybe I should take some pills to help me fight the stress as at this particular moment in time this insane heartbeat won't let me sleep or do anything constructive.

Anyway, thakns! I hope I'll manage to calm down.

There is no risk in contracting HIV by oral sex. No you do not need an HIV test.
