There are over 950,000 needle sticks in the healthcare field each year in the US alone and since tracking started in 1985 less than 200 people have been infected. That is  apx. 26,000,000 needle sticks in 28 years and less than 200 people tested positive.

There are no test market or sold to give a conclusive negative test earlier than 3 months post exposure.  You never had a exposure in the situation that you've provided.

You can test for the peace of mind. 4 weeks is the window period for a duo test and 3 months for a simple hiv test which is necessary for a conclusive result. Try to keep calm in the meantime

Hello,
keep in mind that hiv can only be transmitted through:

-unprotected vaginal or/and anal penetration
-from mother to child
-by sharing drug works

Keep calm
