tested negative but symptoms exist

I had a risky encounter in Pattaya, Thailand. I had unprotected sex for about 1 min with a bar girl and then used a condom. Unprotected oral sex as well. I had crazy symptoms like rashes, neck pain, fatigue, breathlessness, mouth ulcers, random pain in thighs and hand, tingling in fingers and legs. The neck pain, ulcers, tingling and a few others still exist.

I used the oraquick advance 1/2 4 times and tested negative 4 times. The first test was about 3 months after, second was at 4 months and then the next two around 6 months. I read somewhere that the oraquick is not the most accurate test. Should I move on or get an ELISA test to confirm my status. I'm confused by the contrasting information about oraquicks accuracy.  (I was diagnosed with an UTI a few months back. It was because of e-coli, not sure if that can cause these symptoms.)

Thanks both of you. I'm gonna take your word for it. Hopefully the symptoms will disappear soon.

is oraquick considered accurate enough? Have you ever heard of anyone testing negative with oraquick and otherwise with ELISA? I have read a few studies online where this has happened. I know I should be ecstatic about my result. I was till I happened to read this study.

Whatever is causing you symptoms has nothing to do with HIV. You have conclusively tested negative outside the window period.
