Trust your clinic. You are reported Negative, so you are Negative. I have got myself tested for HIV and other infections a couple of times but bever bothered about they way they do it, what I was always interested in, what does my report say... and that is the bottom line. In my language, there is a saying,,, Eat mangoes, don't count the trees. So your mango is sweet because it is Negative, just enjoy and celebrate.

and i solved my problem.I called lab to ask how you work? they told me they have been taking 2 tubes of blood one for testing, second one is for confirmation if the result comes back poz.So what i saw it was right.two tubes for one test. And for information ; red or yellow heads for HIV serum tests, purple is for confirmation of WB or RNA tests. So everything must have been done in medical order.I will close this case now.

you are paramedic so you know this things, this is a good question.EDTA is an anticoagulant,it is a substance which inhibate enzymas in blood in the meantime it prevents clotting in blood serum for some tests.Do you think that blood in this type of tube can be disappeared existence of hiv and prevent the results of hiv combi tests?
cheers

yes but im trying to say what is written in the website of lab . They have told Hiv combi tests works on red tubes (Serum) and Purple tubes ( EDTA with plasma) works on hiv rna pcr that kind of tests  .i just wanna know she put my blood to purple tube after i dont know what she did.I need to know for clarification Does it affect test to use Purple tubes ( EDTA with plasma) for HiV combi test which works on ECLIA roche? i just searched and see that they use it esp.hiv pcr-rna tests? not anywhere for Hiv combi.Do you have any idea about this Teak? tnx.

What are you talking about? I have blood taken every four months and the blood is sometimes divided into other tubes. It's not a concern.

Yeah ,i have to do this but i cant pass due to things that was going on there. After blood taking period,I left the room first and she cam afterwards,i saw there was 2 tubes in her hands ,i didnt ask but when i came to get results 2 hours after.I asked her "you put my blood to one tube but you came up with two tubes, why?" she was looking to me meaninglessly told just "what" and i asked more because of her empty face"was it for backup?" and she told yes yes but it was like sending me away of clinic. So this wasnt my first hiv test during my life i have done it at least 6 times.but something was going there weird,so I am trying to solve mystries.in mean time we say in my language...Eat grapes, dont ask its vineyard.
