to teak or anyone else in the medical field or with knowledge on this:
how easy would it be for a nurse or medical professional to pick up a used needle and use it on me to draw my blood for testing? i had my blood drawn twice and neither time did i see the person unwrap a clean needle.. could they have used a dirty one on me??

Understandable but if you don't get control of this it will lead you down a path that will harm you mentally and physically due to anxiety and stress. I urge you to post in the anxiety comunity or even try a therapist.

What do you want this forum to tell you? You found some obsecure article and now trying to connect it to you. Try not looking online for anything because you will find something truthful or not. Try posting in the anxiety community to help with your anxiety.

hi, i'm extremely sorry to post again and hope i do not receive a warning for this. i have just read an article online about a nurse anesthesist as well as an anesthesiologist who were sued for reusing needles on patients, resulting in infecting more than 20 patients with Hep C. there have been other reports of similar scenarios although they are rare. this has really freaked me out and i just do not know what to do? would a healthcare worker really reuse a needle???? how can someone do this?!

No they would never use a dirty needle...even by mistake it doesn't happen.
