whats my risk?

I was wondering if there is a risk to HIV transmission from everyday contact with someone that has full blown AIDS? I met a really nice older man riding the bus and we talked and sat near or beside each other for the ride. He lives with his partner (who has not gotten infected) for 7 years. I am starting to get worried because the more I read about it the signs and symptoms the more I panic. If some how I got infected with it and gave it to my daughter would she have symptoms like canker sores and a sore throat already(only 3 months) since the last time I saw him. I feel awful even questioning because I have read that there is no possibility of infection but all the symptoms are there in my daughter. Now it was just Halloween and she has been eating tons of candy which is also gives you canker sores but I am thinking the worst and feel so bad cuz it would be all my fault and I don't want to have it and I dont want my kids to get it either. I just have this gut feeling you know? And everywhere I go there is something about HIV or AIDS and should I take it as a sign that I am infected??? I am very supersticious and to me its a sign of something plus Im reading this book about a guy in rehab who met this other guy who is HIV+ with twin daughters and a wife and in the book the guy in rehabs friend is my name?????? I just start to panic and think the worst. So anyone out there that might know what my risk could be and help me out I would really appreciate it.

PS. about my daughter is freaking me out the worst she is sick and throwing up with sores on the back of her throat, strep throat culture came back negative was put on and finished a course of antibiotics, and it is still there, doctor said puss on tonsils and tonsil culture also negative getting another one done today. What are the chances of us both having it and these symptoms showing within the first 3 months?

You're allowed to be scared if you want to.  You don't need to be as you were told previously.  But you are not allowed to go on an on posting about a no-risk situation. Not on this forum.  Here are the rules:

* Anyone who continues to post excessively, questioning a conclusive negative result or no-risk situation, will be subject to action by MedHelp. Conclusive negative results or a no-risk situation will be based up the criteria MedHelp’s doctors. Action will be taken as follows:
    * After excessive posting, a warning will be issued by MedHelp
    * Continuing to post regarding the negative result / no risk situation will result in a 3 day suspension
    * Continuing to post upon your return will result in a permanent ban.

How can you say no risk when you are not a professional? or are you? Im just very very concerned. I got a test done yesterday and am waiting to hear back from the doctor. So its not over and done until I know for sure. The more I read about it the more I worry and Im scared. Am I not allowed to be scared?

I am not saying that people living with HIV are contagious. It makes me sick that you would stereotype me because of my legit concerns about transmission. All I want to know if it is possible to contract HIV through say blood in saliva ending in someones eye? Or in their mouth? Or into a cut? I have every right to be concerned and just wanted someones opinion without making me feel bad for asking. Now you've upset me cuz I have upset you. I dont think its contagious like the flu or mono or any other infection. I am a mother of 3 and just worried. Im truly sorry for upsetting you and I hope that you have a nice day.

You Ma'm and or Sir are one of the reasons people living with HIV (including myself) make it hard to live with. I do not care how supersticious you are, or if your Zodiac sign says you will get sick. THERE IS NO POSSIBILITY NO-RISK of contraction HIV/AIDS THROUGH EVERYDAY CONTACT HIV IS TRANSMITTED THROUGH

UNPROTECTED ANAL/VAGINAL SEX
SHARING NEEDLES
MOTHER TO CHILD (BIRTH/BREASTMILK) NOT EVERYDAY CONTACT

dismiss your concern and have a nice/happy day
