window period delayed by RA.

hi. I had only vaginal sex with a casual sex worker and the condom broke and i ejaculated in her. I tested negative for elisa at 3 months. I got tested for p24 antigen at 3 months 1 week which was negative. I tested negative for eclia hiv anti body test and RIBA confirmatory test at 3 months and 2 weeks. I had chronic Pharyngitis before the exposure. I got a surgery - tonsillectomy and septoplasty done at 1 month after the exposure. I still have pharyngitis(sore throat).painful lymph nodes in neck, muscle and joint pain. My recent blood test came back positive for RHEMONAID FACTOR(I DONT HAVE SWELLING IN MY JOINTS). I have read that RA delays the window period. So my tests are not conclusive ? Am 27year old male.

The treatment for RA is a cocktail of immunosuppressive drugs including methotrexate, coriticosteroids, and biologics.  If you are being treated with these drugs or any combination thereof than the extent of immunosuppression may be significant.  If you are not being treated with these drugs, than your fears are unwarranted.  Good luck.
