wounded without knowing
Hello, I have read that HIV cannot live in the environment. .
In your opinion how likely is it to get infected with this virus through environmental contacts? Do I need to be worried every time I get a cut out in public?
I understand I would not get HIV from cutting myself on something a HIV infected person just cut themselves on because the virus does not live outside the body that long.
Yesterday i was in our office trying to make jokes to everyone...when i got home i had dried blood in my fingernail.. and i have a wound near my fingernail. I felt hurt but i forget to check in our office because i was talking to my client.but i don't have any idea where did i get this wound. Do i need to be concern in this matter?

Why you want a test for yourself? Test is warranted only when there is potential exposure. Since you were never exposed to the risk, you do not need a test. It will be a waste of time and money. It will always come negative, we know that because of non existent of your risk.
If i wish to have test? What will the best time? If theres a expert or doctor here

I felt hurt that time but i ignored that pain.The pain is not so very painfull thats why i ignored it

Yeah maybe may imagination is killing me...
As far as i know all may office-mate is not taking drugs or taking some injectibles drugs in there bodies..
We are in KSA so all people are scared to used drugs..
Anyway i will move on..

Sharp thing, other than the IV works for drugs, have no risk. What is your probability of getting hit by a syringe, earlier used by an HIV +ve drug eddict? This situation can be a fiction but not a reality
