hi, i want to ask about my father's condition . He is 56 yeara, diabetic, (on insulin) hypertensive , ex-smoker . he suffered from angina and he was catheterized 3 times in one year (last one was 4 months ago) and each time the doctors implant stents both normal and drug-illuting stents ( he has 7 stents ) and each time the doctors find re stenoses either in catheters or a new vessel became stenosd. they comment of marked calcification over his vessels that no one had ever seen such a huge calcification in that age . they say that the vessels is so calcified and it is the cause of his condition.
however lab was normal for ca
he is currently on treatment for DM.HTN,Hyprrlipedimia and on Plavix tab.
his lab each time is good
so please what is in your opinion the cause of recurrence
and is there is any ca lowering drug that can prevent ca depositions over the arteries
