PoTS?

Hello my name is Mathew. I'm 19 and from Saskatchewan. I believe I have PoTS,  about a week and a half ago I noticed that my heart rate was 120 when I got out of bed and when I was sitting it went down to 80. I don't seem to have the low blood pressure or syncope accompanying standing like some people claim to have. I've been to 3 doctors and none of them have a clue what's wrong with me. I am supposed to meet with a cardiologist sometime within the month but I'm worried they won't have a clue either. No one knows what Is happening to me and I've been in the dark ever since. I'm unsure what to do, I found that if I sit with my legs up and stretch them In about and hour or I am able to stand without my heart rate going over around 100. And usually 6-7 hours after waking up I'm tired again.  My hands and feet also turn purple. It is very frustrating, I don't wish to sit idle by while my health declines. I'm not sure if I should be exercising or getting rest. I don't want to overexert myself but I also don't want to become more deconditioned. I was very sedentary prior to the PoTS and I feel as though it played some part. I've tried to research as much as I can about PoTS but I am still left with questions. I am unsure if my life is in danger, I'm worried my heart is going to fail or I'll get a blood clot in the night. I feel like i'm walking in a minefield.I don't exactly know how to get in touch or meet with a PoTS specialist so any Information you could provide on the matter would be greatly appreciated, thank you.

I think getting the heart out the way for possible causes is an important first step. If the Cardiologist says that an echo isn't necessary due to your age, remind him of congenital defects.

I'll definitely get the cardiologist to do an echocardiogram, also I've found that my resting heart rate is something like 54.

Ask the cardiologist to perform an echocardiogram, this will eliminate the possibility of a congenital heart shunt from left to right :)

Has cyanosis been considered?
