6 yr old daughter

My 6 yr old daughter always complains that her heart hurts (mostly towards the left side).  I took her to her doctor and he said he heard a murmer but that it was common in a child her age.  Since than she still complains her heart hurts.  It always feels like its going really fast too.  Today I gave her a shower and notice the side she always complains about looked larger than her other side.  It was her left breast and rib.  Should I be concerned?  Also she always complains she has a neck ache.  I dont know if that is tied in with her heart pain.  Her stomach is always big and tends to be a lot of air in there at all times.  Any suggestions?  Thx!

There is condition, congenital diaphragmatic hernia and is usually a disorder of the newborn period, as many as 10% of patients may present after the newborn period and even during adulthood. Outcome in patients with late presentation of congenital diaphragmatic hernia is extremely good, with low or no mortality.

With this condition the left side may appear larger than the right side and rapid heartbeat is also a symptom. In left-sided posterolateral hernia, auscultation of the lungs reveals poor air entry on the left, with a shift of cardiac sounds over the right chest (may be the murmur heard).

I think it is unusual for a six year-old to say that her heart hurts.  Plus, you can see for yourself that something is unusual.  I would get it checked out.  Taking her to a pediatric cardiologist sounds like a good idea to me.

i would take her to a kid cardio have her checked out for peace of mind, i would never let it go with my boys , take her just to be safe cant hurt anything.
