I took Norvasc for a while. At first I had no problems, but then that ankle swelling problem started. I have to add that I was taking Dyazide at the same time. I noted that my kidney funtion was affected by this and I asked my doctor to take me off both of them. Now I am taking an ACE- inhibitor, no more problems. Of course, that my or may not work for you.

Your symptoms may or may not be related to the drug, but at any rate I'd think this is a question best answered by your pharmacist or doctor.  From another patient's point of view who has leg swelling and lung fluid, these are serious symptoms and you should check the condition as soon as possible. I'll mention that when my lungs start filling with fluid, I will choke when laying flat (sleeping) and I experience what I call 'cotton-mouth', a foamy, frothy phlem in my throat.  Get expert advice and keep us informed.
