Angiogram showed pristene heart, why am I still having shortness of breath and fatigue?

I walk between 12 and 15 miles per week, eat a low fat diet with plenty of fish, fruits and greens, and still when I play tennis or do other aerobic or physical exerting exercise I have shortness of breath, am light headed and sometimes become confused or disoriented. I am 62 with a family history of heart issues which is why I had the angiogram last fall  which proved my heart had no blockage. I have an habitual cough, worse in the morning but does occur during the day as well.

Have you had any pulmonary function tests?  It could be a lung thing, not a heart thing.  See if you can get referred to a pulmonologist to get a proper workup.

Have you been tested for thyroid disease?  This causes brain fog and lightheadedness also.  The cough could possibly be an inflamed thyroid.  Thyroid disease is very common in women....more so as you get older.  It also can cause heart damage if left untreated.
Get a copy of your tests and check the results for yourself.  The new TSH range is 0.3-3.0.  Many of us have been told we are borderline or normal when in fact we need thyroid medication.  You should also have thyroid antibodies tested along with FT4 and FT3.
