Could an aortic infection be to blame for the following
-strong and persistant "heartbeat" in my abdomen
-chronic (about 5 months now) abdominal pain, mostly in the upper right
-appearance of vericose veins in thighs
-sudden DARK blue appearance of regular veins all over, especially upper legs, arms, abdomen, and even one on my face. these seem to show up darker on days when i am having more abdominal pain than usual, and then they will fade.
-frequent dizziness, disorientation
-muscle and joint aches, especially my legs
-easily fatigued, with pounding heart from everyday activities
-recurring fevers
i've already ruled out any gastroentorologic cause for the persistent abdominal pain, so could it be an aorta issue? i do have a heart murmur and an arythmia if that makes a difference. I would really appreciate any insight!
