Sometimes heart cells are dormant (medically referred to as stunned heart cells) and the heart wall in question can be revitalized with an improvement of blood flow to the deficit area...more advanced condition than just angina). I had an impaired portion of my heasrt that reduced cardiac output. A stent and medication now supplies an adequate supply of oxygenated blood to the area and the heart cells function normally and heart wall movement is not compromised.
If medication does not relieve chest pain (angina) then a stent may be the option. A lifestyle change with heart healthy diet, exercise that reduces cholesterol can prevent any progression and may reverse.
can it be corrected by lifestyle changes or I will need some medical procedure?
If you have some vessel blockage, it is not unexpected to have chest pain (angina) with exertion and relief with rest. Blood pressure can be normal, although systole (upper number) may/can be higher than normal due to the resistance the heart needs to pump angainst
