GERD or heart?

I just came back from the doctor....so please don't tell me to go to one.  My question is this, Has anyone had chest, arm, jaw, neck pain and sworn it was heart related only to be told its reflux.  I am a 38 year old female, neg stress test, multiple EKG's normal, normal bloodwork etc.  My upper endoscopy only showed mild esophagitis.  2 years ago I also had a holter and an echo.......I feel like i am going crazy.

Same here sue. I have been feeling the same feeling. EKGs, stress test, echo, holter, and stress echocardiography all turned out negative. doctors are telling me its GERD and that I should not worry about my heart. Good to hear that there are others that are also dealing with this

yo sue i'm dealing with that rite now. I have had ekgs, echos, stress test, and even an cardiac cath all show nothing. I do have an Hiatal hernia and they tell me thats what my problem is but i don't know. i keep having chest pain pain in the left arm, weird sort of headaches, pain in neck and jaw, lighthead and woosie feelings, nausea  but they keep tellin me its not cardiac in nature but i don't know. so you are not alone

The symptoms are very similar.  Seems like they have checked your heart out pretty well, but it sounds like you would prefer it to be heart-related.

I would happily accept the diagnosis and start popping some Omeprazoles.  Believe me, GERD trumps heart every time.
