Inability to view the aorta using echocardiogram

My granddaughter recently saw a pediatric cardiologist. He said this was rare, and she needs further testing. How concerned should we be about this rarity?

It depends on what her symptoms are.  She was sent to a cardiologist for a reason.  If she has symptoms, you should probably be more concerned than is she has no symptoms-- but she should have further testing so *you* can understand exactly what is going on.
