A 24 hour monitor is called a Holter, and it transmits all your heartbeats via the EKG tracing. The stress from your running may or may not be the same level of stress that you would have during an official stress test. That kind goes by certain protocols and is increased gradually. They also monitor BP and look for other symptoms like chest pain or pressure or sweating etc. I think the thing to note is that you have apparently a great exercise tolerance! I sure wish I could run!
