My son 13 years old, had an abnormal electrocardiogram so a echocardiogram was performed. His doctor wants us to see a cardiologist and we are waiting to hear from them to set the appt. Mean while I have some questions on the findings, the only thing that was said to me was a mild left ventricular hypertrophy. He is not over weight (92lbs), no problems with high blood pressure, and he does the normal sports activities a 7th grader does. What treatments are there for this?
After reading the report I saw that under FINDINGS there was more things, but not sure the meaning...
-Tricuspid reguritation, trivial
-Pulmonary regurgitation trivial
-Left aortic arch
Are these more issues that my son might have? Please help me with some answers
