Meeting tomorrow

Tomorrow I am meeting with the cardiologist who put my 5 stents into my LAD. I have a lot of questions that I will be asking, such as benefits of taking CoQ10 supplement. I will also be asking why my angina is getting worse.
I saw my local cardiologist in December and I was shocked at what she said. I had my procedure done in Sept 09, that's three months before I met with her. She said, and I quote "I really can't understand why you don't feel much better, I saw your angiogram and it looks fine. We need to do a stress echo and lung function test because theres nothing wrong with the LAD, and you LVEF is 70%".
Now, am I going nuts, does she have x-ray vision or something? How can you look at an angiogram three months old and say there's nothing wrong with that vessel?  I assume she is saying that it's impossible for restenosis to occur, clotting, collapsed stents, broken stents etc. I will be asking if the episode of afib (or whatever it was because it was never explained to me) after my procedure (210bpm +) could have upset the stenting. It's a bit of a test drive to put them through right after the procedure I think. I really hope I don't need yet another cath, they might as well put a socket into my artery so I can be checked several times a year.
Does anyone else have any ideas about what I can/should ask please?

Think you got it covered, just make sure to write it down because if you're like me you'll forget half of It when you walk in the door. I don't get white coat hypertension much anymore, just white coat stupidity.

Good luck.

And don't forget what I told you...spasms AND the microvascular system not opening and/or spasming which they can't do a thing about except try to reduce spasms, CCB, and nitro patch to keep things open. Joan.

I would be asking if there is any possibility that your vessels are just spasming, instead of being outright blocked. If you are still having angina, that could be a possibility. As far as the heart rate of 210, it could have been SVT and not A=fib at all. Did they use paddles on you to shock you out of the rhythm, ed? Your assumption about the vessels not being able to be blocked after three months is probably what your doctor is referring to. Is it possible that they gave you medicines in the lab to increase your heart rate to see how the vessels would respond? I think I would ask that as well. Let us know how things turn out, ed.
