Has anyone with a pacemaker experienced dizzy spells?

I have a dual (2 line) pacemaker.  I experience what I call spells.  I become dizzy, sweat profusly but I do not pass out.  These spells usually pass after 45 sec - 1min. Sometimes they are as frequent as every 15-20 miinutes.  They ramp up quick - usually last 2-3 days and by the end of the 2nd day the frequency is less and less until they disappear.  I have admitted myself to hospital - they can determine nothing.  I go for 6 mth check ups for my pacemaker.

has anyone else experienced what I have described above?

You may want to have your ears checked carefully and perhaps have a Testibular Testing done to check your ears, eyes and balance. You should not be having problems with dizziness like you are if the pacer was placed due to a Sick Sinus Syndrome. You should be feeling much better. It could also be that your pacer isn't set at the right rates for you. Talk to your EP Doctor.

My father recently ( four weeks) had a defib pacemaker fitted. He since suffered constant dizziness and loss of balance. Prior to the procedure he was fine, now he can't walk without the help of a stick to maintain his balance. His blood pressure is fine and doctors have tested his pacemaker. He states that his feels as though he cannot control his focus so it appears to be effecting his optical senses although his doctor is looking at the various drugs he takes. Has anyone else had this experience?
